The companies signed a partnership back in July, with the first 50 devices appearing on the Ohio State University campus.

The first campus in the United States where Yandex rovers began operating was Ohio University at Columbus. Robots bring food from local cafes and restaurants, which students and teachers order through the Grubhub service. More than 60 thousand students live and study on the campus, 50 Yandex robots will work there seven days a week from nine in the morning to nine in the evening. Courier robots will deliver orders to educational buildings, dormitories, library, and other buildings. Yandex entered into an agreement with the Grubhub service for on-campus delivery in June 2021. Later, the rovers will appear elsewhere – Grubhub serves more than 250 university campuses in the United States.
